CDL-A/B Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $27.75–$29.75/hr

Our company has two local driving positions open in Salt Lake City, UT, hauling medical equipment and supplies. Both get you home every day, and you pick which role fits you better.

Pay

• $27.75 to $29.75 per hour

• Scheduled for 40 hours a week, with occasional overtime expected

The two options

• Touch Freight Driver (Class B CDL): works Monday through Friday, starting between 3:00 and 4:00 AM. You'll deliver and break down pallets using a dolly and an electric pallet jack.

• Line Haul Driver (Class A CDL): works Sunday through Thursday, starting at 6:00 PM. This route also involves local deliveries with touch freight, pallet jacks and a lift gate.

Both roles involve direct customer contact in a professional, white-glove style setting rather than typical trucking work, and both require lifting up to 50-60 lbs.

Home time

• Home daily for both positions

• Not suited to drivers looking for OTR work

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL, depending on the role

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience

• Clean driving history

• Dependable and comfortable working through changing weather and road conditions

• Customer-facing and professional in appearance and conduct

• Plain shirts with no logos, plain hats allowed, and steel or composite toe boots; the company supplies safety vests and gloves

• Bring your DOT medical card to the interview

Training and hiring process

• 7 days of training riding along with a trainer

• In-person interview followed by a road test once you clear the DQ file
