CDL-A/B Commercial Truck Driver — $28–$32/hr, Home Daily

WM is hiring a commercial driver in Estes Park, CO to run a CDL route picking up waste or recyclable containers and hauling loads to disposal, transfer, or recycling sites. Shifts start around 5 AM and typically run 10 to 12 hours, with drivers home every day.

What you'll do

• Drive a heavy-duty truck fitted with a front, side, or rear loader, matched to your route and truck type

• Service commercial containers, some weighing over 1,000 pounds, including maneuvering wheeled bins into position

• Work through tight, busy areas like driveways, alleys, lots, and congested streets, using strong backing skills

• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and file the required DVIR paperwork

• Report any safety concerns, service problems, accidents, or damage to your manager or dispatch right away

• Keep customer sites clean and clear of debris after emptying containers

• Follow your assigned route, finish your end-of-day paperwork and checkout, and help other drivers when needed

• Join required training sessions and meetings

Requirements

• At least 1 year driving a CDL-required vehicle, or 1 year of equivalent military driving in the past 7 years

• CDL Class A or Class B with air-brake endorsement

• Minimum age 18, and authorized to work in the country where this job is based

• English proficiency sufficient to communicate with the public, read traffic signs, answer official questions, and handle paperwork

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• This is a safety-sensitive role subject to drug and alcohol testing, including pre-employment, post-incident, reasonable-suspicion, and random testing

• Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking, and hearing
