About this job
Our company is looking for a Class 1 LCV highway driver to run freight between their depots out of Calgary, AB. This is a full-time, permanent position with year-round hours.
What you'll haul
- Move freight between Hi-Way 9 depots
- Operate a tractor trailer and long combination vehicle (LCV)
Pay
- Starts at $27.23 per hour
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license with a clean abstract
- LCV certification
- At least 24 months or 150,000 km behind the wheel of articulated vehicles
- Completed a Professional Driver Improvement Course (PDIC) in the last 48 months
- Able to pass a criminal record check and a fit-for-work test
- Abstract must show no driving-related criminal code convictions in the last 36 months
- Abstract must show no more than 2 moving violations in the last 12 months and no more than 3 in the last 36 months
