Casual Courier Driver — $24.00/hr Minimum

Our company is looking for a casual courier in Lloydminster, SK to pick up and deliver packages on an assigned route. You will represent the company to customers while keeping shipments moving accurately and on schedule.

• $24.00 minimum per hour

Schedule

• Casual courier position

• Shifts run Monday to Saturday, starting at 08:00 am

What you'll do

• Pick up and deliver packages on your route, checking each one against our company's service standards

• Load your van and plan your route for efficient stops

• Keep accurate stop counts, report any missorted packages, and protect company and customer property

• Use the company's tracking and dispatch systems to log correct information

• Make sure labels and paperwork are complete, and keep customers stocked with shipping supplies

• Answer customer questions about our company's services, including Canada-US and international shipping rules

• Spot potential new business from existing customers and pass leads to the sales team

• Depending on location and workload, you may also help load or unload aircraft or containers and scan packages

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history

• One year of customer-facing work experience is preferred

• Familiarity with our company operations or Canadian customs rules is a plus

• Able to lift up to 70 lbs on your own and move packages up to 150 lbs with the right equipment

• Must pass the required pre-employment driving assessment

• Strong communication, organization and time-management skills, with the ability to stay composed under pressure
