Our company needs a car carrier driver in Winnipeg, MB R2C 3A6 to move vehicles around Canada and down into the US. This full-time role pays $24 per hour CAD.

What you'll haul
- Cars, trucks and vans on a tandem axle auto hauler tractor with sleeper, pulling a Cottrell trailer
- Local runs, inter-provincial routes, and cross-border trips into the US
What the job involves
- Securing and releasing vehicles using correct tie-down methods for loading and unloading
- Running pre-trip and post-trip checks on your rig
- Filling out vehicle condition reports and confirming delivery paperwork
- Staying current on electronic logs, fuel and mileage records, and run sheets
- Checking in with Dispatch and sticking to Hours of Service rules and road laws
- Flagging any equipment or cargo damage as soon as it happens
Requirements
- A clean record on your driver abstract
- Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Background hauling vehicles on a car carrier rig
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
