About this job
Our company in Shelton, CT needs a dependable delivery driver to run an established bread and cake route using a handheld device for sales and inventory. Early start, steady route, no CDL needed.
What you'll do
- Drive a set route delivering bread and cake products on a set schedule
- Use a handheld device to track stock, sell stale bread back, and complete store inventory counts
- Start your shift at 5am
- Load and unload product safely, and lift and carry bread trays
- Follow each store's own rules and procedures
- Keep accurate delivery records and keep the truck clean and presentable
- Deliver friendly, professional service to store contacts
Requirements
- Valid driver's license (CDL not required)
- Experience handling 18-22 foot trucks is a plus
- Comfort with handheld devices is a plus
- Clean driving record
- Reliable, on time and attentive to detail
Pay
- $650.00 per week
