Box Truck Owner-Operator — $2,300–$4,000/week

Our company LLC, a Denver-based dispatch company two years in business, is looking for owner-operators with box trucks or cargo vans/Sprinters. Dispatchers work with their own brokers to find loads across the US and Canada, local, regional or long-distance, depending on what you prefer.

Pay

• Posted pay: $2,300.00 - $4,000.00 per week.

• Average rates per mile: box trucks $1.30 - $1.70 on long miles in all areas; Sprinters/cargo vans $1.05 - $1.35 in good areas and $0.90 - $1.10 in bad areas.

• For each load you name your rate; if everyone agrees, it is booked at that rate with nothing taken out.

• Standard payment arrives 3-5 business days after delivery with no fee. Quick pay arrives in 1-2 business days and costs 3%.

What you'll haul

• Mostly machinery and parts, steel, building materials, wood products, small pipes and military loads.

• Hazmat is available but optional.

• No household goods or food.

How it works

• Send your available zip codes to dispatch each morning.

• The agreement is non-exclusive, and the company suggests working with at least 4 carriers companies to keep loads coming daily.

• Partial loads are not allowed: you can take a load from another company only after delivering ours, or you face a fine.

• A company app is in testing and expected in about a month; it has no bidding and is meant to speed up communication.

Vehicle and insurance

• Box trucks 12-16 ft, 2010 or newer; Sprinters/cargo vans 2016 or newer.

• Vehicle must be blank, with no company name or contact info.

• Commercial insurance with $1,000,000 auto liability and $100,000 cargo coverage.

• Cargo space for vans: 120-196 in long, 49-55 in wide between the wheels, 55-77 in high. Box trucks: 120-196 in long, 80-96 in wide, 70-90 in high.
