Box Truck Driver — Parts Delivery, $18.40–$21.00/hr

Our company, a national auto parts distributor based in Pompano Beach, Florida, is looking for a Box Truck Driver to deliver parts to customers in the Washington, DC area on a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Pay

• $18.40 - $21.00 an hour, with the description also referencing an hourly rate of $20.40

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm

• Some weekend availability required

What you'll do

• Pick up, transport, and deliver auto parts to customers safely and on time

• Check orders before and after delivery for accuracy and customer satisfaction

• Monitor the bobtail truck's gauges and systems during operation

• Follow dispatcher instructions, assigned routes, and navigation tools

• Help load and unload freight at customer sites

• Handle customer payments, invoices, and related paperwork

• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues

• Pitch in on other warehouse tasks like stocking and pulling parts when needed

Requirements

• At least one year of verifiable Class C bobtail truck driving experience

• Valid driver's license and personal auto insurance

• Current DOT medical certificate

• Minimum age of 21 to meet company insurance rules

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds (75 pounds for collision parts drivers)

• Clean driving record and government clearance

• Comfortable using a tablet or mobile device for navigation and customer sign-off
