Box Truck Driver — Local Pickup & Delivery — $21–$23/hr + Sign-On Bonus

Our company in Salt Lake City, UT needs a dependable box truck driver for full-time, first-shift work handling equipment pickups and deliveries, mostly local with occasional out-of-state runs.

Pay

• $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, paid weekly

• Sign-on bonus offered

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

• Overtime as needed

What you'll haul

• Equipment pickups and deliveries to dealer locations, locally and sometimes across state lines

• You'll load, unload, warehouse and palletize freight as needed, and check products for damage

Requirements

• At least 2 years of box truck driving experience with a clean record

• Comfortable driving both automatic and manual box trucks

• Minimum age 21 and able to meet FMCSA physical qualifications

• Valid driver's license and able to satisfy all DOT rules, including required drug and alcohol testing

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Able to read, speak and write English well enough for the job

• Able to lift 50 lbs and handle bending, crouching and reaching

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must be able to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen

You'll also keep accurate trip sheets, fuel logs and delivery paperwork, do routine truck inspections, report any safety concerns or accidents, and give customers solid service along the way.
