About this job
WM Canada needs a Box Truck Driver in Edmonton, Alberta to run secure document destruction routes for its Shred-it service. You'll be behind the wheel of a box truck, calling on client sites, and keeping confidential materials safe from pickup to destruction.
Pay
- Starts at $25/hr
Home time
- Home every day
- Tuesday through Friday, 7am to 5pm
What you'll do
- Collect and destroy confidential paperwork, either at the customer's location or offsite
- Run pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections and flag any problems to dispatch
- Service collection bins and consoles using a handheld scanner to log your work
- Stay on top of your route and make sure documents are never left unsecured
- Field questions and concerns from customers along the way
Requirements
- At least 2 years behind the wheel (3 years, especially in box trucks or route delivery, is a plus)
- Current driver's license
- Able to lift heavy loads, stand, walk, and stay active on the job
- Must clear a drug and alcohol screen, plus random testing afterward
- High school diploma or GED is a plus, not mandatory
