Box Truck Driver, CDL/Non-CDL OTR — From $850/wk

Our company needs a reliable box truck driver to run OTR routes out of the Raleigh and Greenville, NC area. You will handle both the driving and the loading, keeping deliveries on time and customers happy.

Pay

• Starting from $850.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Deliveries by box truck on local and regional routes

• Loading and unloading cargo by hand, with pallet jacks and forklifts

• Helping out in the warehouse with inventory and moving freight when needed

What you'll do

• Drive safely, following DOT rules and traffic laws

• Check your truck regularly to keep it road-ready

• Plan routes with GPS and mobile apps to save time and fuel

• Log delivery info such as signatures, times and any problems that come up

• Deal with customers professionally and resolve delivery issues with a good attitude

Requirements

• Experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles

• Valid DOT Medical Card

• Background in route delivery driving with a solid traffic safety record

• ELD logging experience

• Warehouse experience, including manual handling of heavy loads

• Able to run forklifts, pallet jacks and manual transmission vehicles

• Good understanding of DOT rules on hours of service, weight limits and workplace safety

• Strong customer service skills

• Physically able to lift and handle heavy items regularly

• Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation and communication

• Courier or load-and-unload experience is a plus
