Box Truck Driver (1099) — Local, Regional or OTR — $900–$1,200/wk

Our company is looking for dependable box truck drivers to run local, regional, or OTR routes as 1099 independent contractors. You'll handle light to medium freight and keep steady weekly work.

What you'll haul

• Local, regional, or OTR deliveries, assigned based on your availability

• Light to medium freight, with loading and unloading as needed (pallet jack may be provided)

Pay

• Paid weekly, with earnings depending on the type of route you run

• Typical weekly pay ranges from $900.00 to $1,200.00

• Direct deposit is available, with no delays in payment

What the job involves

• Keeping delivery paperwork in order, including BOL, POD, and route sheets

• Staying in touch with dispatch throughout your shift

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Following DOT safety rules and company policies

• Representing the company professionally when you're at customer sites

Requirements

• Current DOT Medical Card required

• Clean driving history

• Box truck experience is preferred

• Able to lift 50 to 75 lbs when the job calls for it

• Comfortable using GPS and mobile apps for navigation and communication

• Reliable, professional, and on time

• Open to local, regional, or OTR assignments

• Must qualify to work as a 1099 independent contractor
