About this job
Our company needs dependable box truck drivers for a 1099 independent contractor role. You'll run steady loads year-round in a company-provided truck, with settlements paid weekly.
Pay
- $900.00 - $1,700.00 per week
- You keep 20-30% of gross loads
- Settled weekly
What you'll haul
- Box truck freight, with consistent work available all year
Equipment and support
- Truck supplied by the company
- Fuel card included
- Maintenance costs covered
- You'll have a dedicated dispatcher
Requirements
- Valid driver's license (a CDL isn't required unless the load calls for one)
- Clean driving history
- Current DOT medical card
- Comfortable and safe handling a box truck
- Reliable, punctual and professional on the job
Preferred
- Past experience in delivery or trucking
- Familiarity with ELD and Hours of Service rules
