Box Truck Driver — $1,000–$1,400/Week

Our company needs a dependable box truck driver to handle pickups and deliveries, both local and long-distance, using a 26-ft box truck.

What you'll haul

• Freight picked up and dropped off at various locations in a 26-ft box truck

• Loading, unloading and securing cargo so it travels safely

• Both local runs and longer trips across the country

Pay

• $1,000.00 to $1,400.00 per week

What you'll do

• Operate the truck safely to every pickup and delivery point, on schedule

• Fill out delivery paperwork and stay in touch with customers

• Check the truck over before and after each trip

• Keep dispatch updated on pickups, drop-offs, delays or problems

• Follow traffic laws, safety rules and company policy

• Keep the vehicle clean and well maintained

Requirements

• Comfortable driving a 26-ft box truck

• Solid route planning and navigation skills

• Experience loading, unloading and securing freight

• Good time management and communication

• Able to do basic vehicle inspections

• Dependable, able to follow instructions and work without close supervision

• Willing to travel for both local and long-haul routes
