About this job
Our company in Connecticut needs a box truck driver to run delivery routes for Amazon. No commercial license is required, but you should be comfortable driving a 24-26 ft box truck with a manual transmission.
What you'll haul
- Drive a 24-26 ft box truck on assigned Amazon delivery routes
- Load and unload freight, using a pallet jack where needed
- Stick to the planned route and stay on schedule while following traffic laws
Requirements
- No CDL necessary
- Comfortable driving a manual transmission vehicle
- Prior experience driving delivery or route trucks
- Able to lift and handle heavy freight during loading and unloading
- Careful, safety-focused approach to the job
- Clear communicator, able to update dispatch on delays or problems
- Willing to complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and keep accurate logs of hours, routes and deliveries
Pay
This is a contract position paying $650.00 per week.
Work location
You'll be on the road for this role.
