Box Truck Delivery Driver — Full-Time with Benefits

Our company Distributors in Hagerstown, MD is hiring a full-time delivery driver for its distribution team. You'll get products to customers safely, accurately and on schedule while working closely with the office and warehouse crew.

What you'll do

• Deliver and transport goods to customers and other designated stops

• Load, unload and secure cargo so it travels safely

• Map out and follow efficient delivery routes

• Keep customers, dispatch and the warehouse updated on pickup and delivery status and arrival times

• Match item numbers and quantities to invoices so orders go out correct

• Handle paperwork like invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading

• Flag any order mismatches, returns or delivery issues to the right people

• Do routine vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance checks, and report any needed repairs right away

• Keep your truck and equipment clean and road-ready

• Follow company safety, security and operational procedures

• Pitch in on other tasks like loading, hauling or dispatching when needed

Requirements

• Box truck driving experience

• Reliable, positive and team-minded attitude

• Good working relationships with customers, coworkers and supervisors

• Solid grasp of traffic laws and defensive driving

• Able to safely handle the assigned vehicle

• Able to work outdoors in different weather and occasionally lift or move about 20-30 pounds
