About this job
Our company works with cargo van and box truck owner-operators, connecting you to freight across the country while you stay in charge of which loads you take. This is an independent contractor role, not a company driving job, and you must supply your own vehicle.
Requirements
- You must own a cargo van or box truck, model year 2008 or newer
- Active commercial insurance is required, with at least $1,000,000 in Auto Liability coverage and $100,000 in Motor Truck Cargo coverage
- A valid driver's license and current vehicle registration are required
- Applications without an owned vehicle or active insurance won't move forward
What you'll haul
Loads can include general freight, retail goods, business equipment, furniture, consumer products, and other commercial deliveries. Qualified drivers may also be offered hazmat loads.
How dispatch works
Their dispatch team looks for freight that matches your location and route preferences, covering local, regional and OTR work. They handle communication with brokers, negotiate rates, manage load paperwork, and stay available from pickup to delivery. You choose which loads to accept — nothing is force-dispatched.
Pay
Earnings range from $1,500.00 to $6,000.00 per week. Payments go out by ACH within 2-3 business days of completing a load, or you can use Zelle for faster payout, which may carry processing fees.

Onboarding
After applying, the team reviews your vehicle, insurance and paperwork. Once approved, you'll start getting load offers suited to your equipment, location and preferred operating area, working as an independent contractor under their carrier authority.
The hiring carrier's name is shared with you once you apply through the DriverRoll app, where you can message them directly.
