About this job
Our company, based in Morrisburg, Ontario, is looking for reliable AZ drivers for daily runs between Morrisburg and the Port of Montreal. You'll be home every night with weekends off, running mostly day-cab routes to container yards like Termont, Viau, Cast, Racine, CN, Ultra and other intermodal facilities.
Pay
- $27/hour if you have less than 1 year of experience
- $30/hour with 1 year of verifiable AZ experience
- $0.56 per hub-mile for B-train runs (works out to roughly $33/hour)
- Extra incentive pay for B-trains and additional freight stops
Home time
- Home every night, with weekends off
What you'll haul
- B-trains, single chassis units, flatbeds and dry-box trailers
- Equipment includes 13-speed, 18-speed and automatic transmissions
Requirements
- Valid Ontario AZ license
- Manual transmission endorsement if you got your AZ after 2017
- Able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Live within 45 km of Morrisburg
- Comfortable with long working hours
