AZ Single Driver — $5,500–$6,000/Month

Our company in Calgary, AB needs solo Class 1 drivers to run assigned routes and move freight safely. This is a steady monthly-pay position for a dependable driver.

Pay

• $5,500 to $6,000 per month

What you'll do

• Operate a Class 1 truck on set routes and schedules

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks and flag any safety or mechanical concerns

• Make sure loads are properly secured and undamaged, and confirm deliveries are correct

• Handle loading and unloading tasks, using a forklift or similar equipment when the job calls for it

• Stay within traffic regulations, hours-of-service limits, and site-specific safety rules

• Maintain accurate logs of trips and inspections, and flag any problems with deliveries

• Keep your truck and workspace tidy

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license and a clean driving history

• Prior experience driving commercial trucks and hauling freight is preferred

• Forklift certification or hands-on experience is a bonus

• Background operating heavy equipment is an asset

• Some familiarity with basic truck upkeep is useful

• You should be safety-minded, dependable, and a clear communicator
