About this job
Our company in Sault Ste. Marie, ON needs an experienced AZ driver for regional runs across Ontario and Quebec. You'll be out on the road during the week and back home on weekends, with lanes covering Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, Cornwall, and other Ontario points as needed.
Pay
- $33–$40 per hour, based on experience
- Delivery incentives where applicable
- Paid layovers for overnight stays when required
Home time
- Out during the week, home on weekends
What you'll haul
- General freight deliveries, not a dock-to-dock role
- Involves hands-on work with tailgate lifts and electric walkies
Requirements
- AZ license with 3+ years of verifiable driving experience
- Clean CVOR and driver's abstract
- Must qualify for the company's commercial vehicle insurance
- Comfortable with both automatic and standard transmissions
- Experience with tailgate lifts and electric walkies
- Able to use a Geotab handheld device
- Knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules
- Physically able to lift and handle deliveries
- Willing to drive DZ trucks when operations require it (AZ pay rate still applies)
