About this job
CommerceLink Logistics, part of our company, needs a local AZ driver in Moncton, NB to run deliveries for a large retail chain. The work runs overnight and on weekends, but you'll be back home every day.
Pay
- CA$30.09 per hour
- Overtime available
- Plan on about 48 hours a week
Home time
- Daily home time, though shifts fall overnight and on weekends
What you'll haul
- You'll run a tractor trailer (manual or automatic multi-speed) on local retail delivery routes
Requirements
- Valid AZ / Class 1 license
- 3+ years behind the wheel in commercial driving
- Minimum age 23
- Comfortable lifting more than 50 lbs on occasion
Responsibilities
- Pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections on the tractor trailer
- Hook up and disconnect trailer air/electrical lines
- Stay on top of logs and required paperwork
- Stay in contact with dispatch and operate the satellite tracking system
- Drive in line with Ministry of Transportation and Highway Traffic Act regulations
