Our company Solutions needs a skilled front-end truck driver to run waste collection routes in Pickering, ON. You'll handle commercial waste pickup along assigned routes, paid $28.00-$31.00 per hour.
What you'll do
- Drive a front-end truck through your assigned route, picking up and hauling solid and commercial waste
- Handle collection equipment and line up waste bins safely
- Check your truck before and after each shift and file condition reports
- Keep things professional when interacting with customers and passersby
- Flag any mechanical issues, route problems, or other concerns to your supervisor
- Tidy up any waste that spills or scatters near pickup spots
- Keep your logs, route notes, and paperwork current
- Stick to traffic rules and workplace safety standards
Requirements
- AZ or DZ driver's licence, valid and current
- At least six months behind the wheel of a front-end truck
- Comfortable driving in busy city and urban settings
- Able to run commercial vehicles and collection gear safely
- Good at staying organized and juggling priorities
- Dedicated to safe driving habits that match company expectations
