About this job
Consbec is hiring an AZ/DZ Driver to support drilling and blasting operations out of Moncton, NB. You'll drive company vehicles, haul materials and equipment to job sites, and help with loading, unloading and general site work. Training is provided, and the company is open to candidates without prior commercial driving experience.
Pay
- $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time, permanent, about 50 hours per week
- Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Work location
- Based in Moncton, NB (East Coast)
- Some travel between work sites may be required
What you'll do
- Operate company vehicles suited to your license class
- Transport and deliver materials and equipment
- Help load, unload, and secure loads
- Complete vehicle inspections and keep accurate paperwork and logs
- Assist with physical labor and other site tasks
- Coordinate with supervisors and site staff
Requirements
- Valid AZ or DZ driver's license
- Able to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Clean driver's abstract and satisfactory criminal record check (CPIC)
- Willing to travel to work locations
- Able to perform physical duties like loading and unloading
- Reliable and safety-focused
Assets (not required)
- Pumper truck experience
- Prior commercial driving in construction or mining
- Experience securing loads
- Valid FAST card
- Valid Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL)
- Surface Common Core training
