Our company is looking for an AZ licensed driver for part-time, call-in casual work in Peterborough, ON. You set your own availability and weekly hours, making this a good fit for a retiree or anyone wanting to add extra hours to their week.
What you'll do
- Drive AZ-class commercial vehicles safely and on schedule
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Keep logbooks and delivery paperwork accurate
- Follow MTO and other safety rules
- Stay in touch with dispatch and customers
Schedule
Shift start and end times vary, and you let the company know how many hours and when you're available.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario AZ license
- Clean CVOR and driver's abstract
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with ELD systems and hours-of-service rules
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working as part of a team
- Solid customer service skills
