About this job
Our company in Kelowna, BC is looking for a delivery driver to run scheduled routes delivering customer orders for the foodservice distribution business.
What you'll do
- Deliver orders on set routes and schedules
- Keep a daily trip log
- Follow Sysco's standard operating procedures, food safety program and health and safety policies
- Handle freight safely, including repetitive lifting up to 40 kg
- Join shift, department, company and safety meetings as needed
- Take on other tasks assigned by the transportation manager or supervisors
Requirements
- AZ license (or equivalent)
- Clean driver's abstract and clear criminal record check
- Fluent in English
- Dependable, safety-minded and able to work well with a team
- Comfortable with physically demanding work, including repetitive lifting up to 40 kg
- Strong focus on customer service
