AZ Cross-Border Truck Driver — $25–$30/hr

Our company Inc. is hiring an AZ driver based in Etobicoke, ON. You will haul freight safely and on time across Canada and into the United States. The job is full-time and permanent, and you report to work in person.

Pay

• $25.00-$30.00 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive tractor-trailers on your assigned routes in Canada and the United States

• Inspect your truck and trailer before and after each trip, covering tires, brakes, lights, fluids and load security

• Tie down and secure freight on flatbed, Roll-Tite, tandem, B-train and multi-axle equipment

• Stay within posted speeds and speed limiter settings, and adapt to weather and road conditions

• Follow Hours of Service rules and take your required rest breaks

• Drive defensively and leave a safe gap behind other vehicles

• Tell the Safety and Maintenance teams right away about mechanical problems, unsafe conditions or incidents

• Follow the company's safety, cargo handling and accident reporting procedures, and join ongoing safety training

Requirements

• At least 2 years of AZ driving experience

• Fluent English, spoken and understood

• No impaired, careless or dangerous driving, racing or similar convictions while employed

• No at-fault accidents in the past 12 months, as judged by the Safety Manager

• A clean Police Criminal Clearance; anyone with a past record needs a Pardon, plus a valid waiver to enter the U.S.

• Legal authorization and valid work documents for both Canada and the United States
