About this job
Our company is hiring AZ cross-border drivers for a Mississauga, ON client that moves air cargo across Canada and the US with a fleet of over 35 trucks and 50 trailers. This is a long-term, full-time position running general freight into destinations like New York, Michigan, Illinois, Texas and Florida.
Pay
- $0.66 per mile plus
- Company also quotes $7,000.00-$10,000.00 per month as an expected range
Home time
- Drivers leave Sunday and return by Friday, with resets taken at home
What you'll haul
- General freight supporting an air cargo operation
- Routes can include New York, New Jersey and other east coast points as required
- Some trips involve overnight stays away from home due to flight-linked schedules
- Routes and destinations are set by operational needs and are not limited to specific states
Requirements
- At least 3 years of verifiable AZ driving experience
- At least 2 years of cross-border experience
- Clean driving abstract and CVOR
- Valid driver's license and passport
- Valid FAST card (or a clean criminal record search if you don't have one)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Minimum age of 24
