About this job
Our company is looking for an experienced AZ driver for full-time cross-border short-haul work out of the GTA, Ontario. You run from Canada into the Midwestern US, mostly Michigan, and you are off on weekends.
Pay
- $0.65 per mile
- Full-time work on a regular weekly schedule
- Expected hours: 40.0 – 70.0 per week
Schedule and routes
- Your week starts Sunday evening and ends Friday
- Each run covers about 3–4 cities, primarily in Michigan and nearby Midwest areas
- You spend one night in the USA and the other night back in Canada
- Weekends are yours
Requirements
- Ontario AZ licence and previous AZ driving experience
- Valid passport and authorization to cross the Canada–USA border
- Clean driving record and CVOR abstract
- Working knowledge of US and Canadian transportation regulations
- Able to deliver safely and on time, and to be reliable, punctual and professional
