AZ Cross-Border Flatbed Driver — $7,000–$9,000/Month

Our company in Milton, ON is hiring a full-time, permanent AZ driver for cross-border runs hauling flatbed freight. Pay is $7,000.00-$9,000.00 per month. Flatbed experience is a plus, but the company can train you.

Pay

• $7,000.00-$9,000.00 per month

What you'll do

• Drive AZ commercial vehicles over long distances while following federal and provincial transportation rules

• Tie down and haul flatbed loads using tarps, chains, straps and other securement gear

• Keep your electronic logs accurate and stay within Hours of Service limits

• Inspect the truck before and after every trip and report any maintenance problems

• Pitch in with loading and unloading when needed, handling freight up to 50 lbs

• Follow cross-border regulations where they apply

• Check in regularly with dispatch on deliveries, delays, incidents or mechanical trouble

• Keep the truck clean and in good shape

• Deal with customers professionally and work with dispatch, operations and safety teams to meet delivery times

Requirements

• At least 2 years of verifiable AZ driving experience

• Valid Air Brake (Z) endorsement

• Able to lift and handle up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable with electronic logbooks and onboard tools such as GPS, AVL units and CB radios

• Solid knowledge of trucking rules and regulations

• Reliable, flexible and organized, and able to work alone or with a team

• Flatbed experience preferred but not required
