About this job
Our company needs experienced Class 1 highway drivers to run Dry Van freight between Canada and the U.S. The position is based out of Halifax, NS, though you can live anywhere in the Atlantic provinces, and trips typically keep you on the road 7 to 10 days at a stretch.
What you'll haul
- Dry Van freight moving across the Canada/U.S. border
- Dispatch-assigned loads, with freight running 24/7
Schedule
- Full-time, cross-border runs
- Expect to be out in the truck for 7 to 10 consecutive days
Requirements
- Valid AZ or Class 1 licence
- At least 2 years of verified driving experience in Canada and the U.S.
- Clean CVOR and driver's abstract
- Clean criminal record check, needed for crossing the border
- Willing and able to cross into the United States on a regular basis
- FAST Card preferred
