AZ Commercial Truck Driver — $28.50/hr

Ryder is hiring a full-time, permanent AZ commercial driver in Woodstock, ON, paying $28.50 an hour. You will drive a commercial vehicle between pick-up and destination terminals, working safely and following company and DOT rules.

Pay

• $28.50 per hour, flat rate

• Some roles may also qualify for an annual bonus, commission or long-term incentive, depending on level or type

Schedule

• Days, afternoons or nights, any day Sunday to Saturday

• No travel

What you'll do

• Drive between pick-up and destination terminals

• Keep trips safe, efficient and compliant with company and DOT regulations

• Keep accurate records and logs

• Watch for safety hazards and remove or minimize them

• Load or unload freight, or help with it, when the customer needs it

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license with air brake endorsement

• At least 9 months of verifiable commercial driving experience

• No more than one moving violation or accident (parking excluded) in the past 12 months

• Able to follow written and spoken instructions and to apply laws, rules and procedures

• High school diploma or GED is preferred

• Legal authorization to work in Canada

• Some roles require extra screening such as a motor vehicle record check, road test or customer background check
