About this job
Our company, a Canadian carrier running freight across Canada and the US for major Fortune 500 clients, is hiring an experienced Class 1 (AZ) driver for its Regina, SK location. You'll run a newer, well-kept tractor-trailer on highway routes.
What you'll haul
- Reefer and dry van trailers
What you'll do
- Handle a Class 1 tractor-trailer combination
- Keep in touch with customers, dispatch, management and the safety team
- Keep accurate, current log books
- Carry out pre-trip inspections and safety checks
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver's license
- Commercial abstract with no more than 2 demerit points
- No license suspensions
- Clean criminal record
- Comfortable working with reefer and dry van trailers
- Prior driving experience
