About this job
MCL Group Ltd., an Acheson, AB earthworks contractor with more than 20 years in the business, needs experienced water truck drivers for a seasonal job near Conklin. Work starts in mid-November and wraps up at the end of January 2027.
Pay and schedule
- $35.00 per hour, full-time.
- Rotation is 24 days on, 4 off, with camp accommodations provided.
- Expect 50+ hours each week, depending on the weather.
Equipment
- You must be able to drive a standard transmission.
- Bringing your own truck and slip tank is a bonus, but not required.
Requirements
- At least 3 years running water trucks.
- A valid Alberta Class 3 licence and a clean commercial driver's abstract covering 5 years, issued within the last 30 days.
- Current CSO, H2S Alive and Standard First Aid tickets. WHMIS 2015 is also asked for.
- Comfortable working as part of a team, with a safety-first attitude.
- Willing to travel for work about 50% of the time.
