About this job
This job is for a 26-foot automatic box truck driver, hired as a 1099 independent contractor, out of Connecticut. There are two position options: OTR or Local.
Pay
- OTR: 20% of the truck's weekly gross revenue, paid weekly, plus weekly bonuses based on gross (the highest tier applies, they don't stack): $6,000 gross adds $75, $7,000 adds $150, $8,000+ adds $225. For example, an $8,000 week would pay $1,600 base plus a $225 bonus, totaling $1,825.
- Local: $140 to $170 per day, paid weekly, based on route and experience.
- You're paid as an independent contractor with no taxes withheld; you handle your own taxes and receive a 1099 at year end.
Home time
- OTR: home every other week.
- Local: Monday to Friday schedule, home every night.
What you'll haul
