About this job
Our company is looking for a full-time driver to run a 26-foot truck doing package pickups in the Chicago area, based out of Franklin Park, IL 60131.
What you'll do
- Pick up packages from warehouses in the Chicago area, following the locations your dispatcher gives you each morning and afternoon.
- Carry the Bill of Lading and visit each warehouse address in order to complete your pickups.
- At each stop, identify yourself to the warehouse supervisor as being from GOFO there to collect Temu goods.
- Log the warehouse address, the supervisor's contact details and WeChat, and any specified pickup time for every stop.
- If a pickup doesn't go smoothly, also note down what caused the issue.
- Bring all the day's pickups to the sorting center to wrap up your shift.
Requirements
- Valid U.S. driver's license held for at least 2 years, with a clean record and no traffic violations.
- Experience driving a 26-foot truck; drivers who have handled 53-foot trucks will also be considered.
- Prior experience picking up goods from overseas warehouses is a plus.
- Reliable, hard-working, and willing to cover the assigned transportation routes.
- Able to help with light loading and unloading (no heavy lifting).
- U.S. experience driving large vehicles is preferred.
Pay
Starting at $180.00 per day.
