1-Ton Truck Freight Driver — $25–$30/hr

Our company, an oilfield supply and service company, needs a dependable driver to run a 1-ton truck and trailer between Edmonton and Drayton Valley, AB, hauling general freight and oilfield supplies like pipe, valves and fittings.

Pay

• $25.00-$30.00 per hour, based on experience

• Overtime at 1.5 times your regular rate after 8 hours worked in a day

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday to Friday

• Typical shifts run 10+ hours depending on freight volume

What you'll haul

• General freight and oilfield/industrial supplies such as pipe, valves and fittings, moved between the Edmonton area and Drayton Valley

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 licence with a clean driving abstract

• Prior experience driving a truck and trailer

• Able to pass fit-for-duty testing

• Understanding of load securement and transport safety rules

• Good organizational, communication and time-management abilities

• Comfortable working solo or alongside a team

• Reliable, self-driven and safety-minded

• Open to longer weekday shifts when needed

• Mechanical know-how or oilfield supply experience is a plus but not required

What you'll do

• Drive loads of oilfield and industrial materials safely

• Run pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Secure loads properly and follow transport regulations

• Help load and unload freight

• Keep accurate delivery and inspection paperwork

• Handle basic truck and trailer upkeep

• Plan routes and coordinate daily pickups and drop-offs

• Stay in regular contact with staff, customers and vendors
