Yard Switcher — $23–$25/hr

Our company in Forest Park, GA is looking for a dependable Yard Switcher to keep trailers moving safely and efficiently around the yard. You'll need at least 2 years of yard truck or heavy equipment experience and a valid, clean driving license.

Pay

• $23.00 - $25.00 per hour, full-time

What you'll do

• Shuttle trailers to loading docks and parking spots using a yard truck

• Position trailers to make the best use of yard space

• Check trucks and trailers for problems and flag them to maintenance

• Keep logs of trailer movements

• Make sure carts are secured properly for transport

• Follow safety rules and wear required protective gear

• Work with the site manager and supervisors to keep yard operations running smoothly, even as priorities shift or weather changes

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean record

• At least 2 years operating yard trucks or comparable heavy equipment

• Comfortable backing and maneuvering vehicles in tight spaces

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Able to stand, walk and handle loads up to 50 pounds for extended periods

• Familiar with OSHA and forklift safety standards

• Willing to work outdoors in all weather
