Our company in Bakersfield, CA is looking for a dependable driver to haul freight safely to multiple destinations. You'll handle route deliveries, secure loads, and may work with manual transmission trucks and refrigerated trailers.
Pay

What you'll do
- Drive delivery vehicles safely, following all traffic laws
- Follow assigned routes to get freight to its destination on time
- Make sure cargo is properly secured for the trip
- Keep records of mileage and fuel use for each delivery
- Check your vehicle regularly to confirm it's running safely
- Stay in touch with dispatch and the team about schedules or any problems on the road
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Semi-truck driving experience is preferred
- Experience with refrigerated trailers is a plus
- Good grasp of freight handling and safety practices
- Solid time management and ability to stick to routes
- Able to communicate clearly with coworkers and clients
