Truck Driver — $3,300–$4,000/Week

Our company is hiring drivers in California for a mix of local and over-the-road runs. The freight and rig you're assigned can vary, so you'll want to be comfortable switching between equipment types.

Pay

• $3,300-$4,000 a week

What you'll haul

• Loads may include reefer trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-offs, or vehicles for car hauling, depending on what you're assigned

What the job involves

• Running commercial routes both around town and across longer distances

• Hand-loading or using a forklift to get freight on and off the truck

• Checking and strapping down your load, including hazmat shipments when that's part of the assignment

• Using GPS to find your way and reporting back on any issues with the road or the delivery

• Logging your trips and keeping vehicle paperwork current

• Staying within DOT and FMCSA rules at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience driving trucks or making deliveries is a plus

• Comfortable with a manual transmission and whatever equipment you're assigned

• Background with tractor-trailers or other specialized rigs is a bonus

• Familiarity with hazardous materials helpful, depending on the cargo and route
