About this job
Our company Canada is hiring a delivery driver in Calgary, AB to run an assigned route delivering office supplies to our company customers. Our company provides the delivery vehicle and all the equipment you need.
What you'll do
- Gather your paperwork and inspect the vehicle before each trip, reporting any maintenance problems to your supervisor.
- Deliver products and take back returns as customers ask, getting signatures and finishing the required paperwork.
- Handle customer feedback and tell your supervisor about any open issues.
- Work safely and keep the vehicle clean.
Requirements
- You are at least 21 years old.
- You have 1 year or more of experience driving a straight truck of 16 ft. or longer.
- You hold a valid driver's license and a clean 5-year driving record with no major moving violations under provincial law.
- You can lift up to 70 pounds without help; hand truck or dolly experience is a plus.
- You know the Calgary metro area, can read a map and are comfortable with mobile proof-of-delivery devices.
- You communicate well, solve problems, manage your time and can work on your own under tight schedules.
- You can drive your route in any weather and scan product and customer information on a handheld scanner.
