Shop Hand / Yard Support — Class 1 Licence — $27–$30/hr

Our company, based in Edmonton, hauls bulk commodities and oilfield products like CO₂, nitrogen, chemicals, sand and sulphur across Western Canada. They need a hands-on Shop Hand/Yard Support worker to help keep the yard and shop running smoothly, and this role requires a valid Class 1 licence since it includes moving heavy commercial trucks.

Pay

• $27.00-$30.00 per hour

What you'll do

• Run parts, supplies and equipment between the yard, vendors and other sites, including urgent hot shots

• Shuttle drivers between locations as needed

• Reposition commercial trucks and equipment around the yard

• Keep the shop and yard clean, organized and safe

• Help shop staff with light mechanical tasks and general upkeep

• Wash, sanitize and detail trucks

• Handle basic paperwork tied to shop activity

• Stay flexible as daily priorities shift, following safety protocols throughout

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 licence is mandatory; a Class 5 does not qualify you for this role

• Clean driving abstract

• Able to handle physical work, including lifting and outdoor tasks

• Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision

• Team player with a safety-first mindset

• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen

• Shop, yard or industrial experience is a plus
