About this job
Our company in Edmonton, AB needs extra ready-mix truck drivers for the winter season after winning new winter projects. It is a permanent seasonal position at a busy concrete plant, paying $30.50–$32.50 an hour.
Pay
- $30.50–$32.50 per hour
What you'll do
- Deliver concrete around Edmonton, where timing matters because the product is time-sensitive
- Take good care of your equipment and keep a good rapport with customers
Requirements
- Class 3 licence with a clean record
- At least 3 years of heavy truck driving, including 3 years on a manual 10, 13 or 18-speed transmission
- 2 years driving in Edmonton; you must have lived in the area for over a year and know the city very well (a deal breaker)
- Fluent English: reading, writing and speaking
- Reliable and punctual
- Experience with concrete trucks is an asset; drivers with body-job experience (pump operators, construction deliveries, vac trucks) get special attention
