About this job
Our company is looking for a seasonal local fuel delivery driver in Jackson, WY. You'll run local routes and be home every night, delivering propane safely to homes and businesses while providing good customer service.
Pay
- $40.00-$43.00 an hour, depending on experience
- Monthly bonus up to $1,000 for seasonal drivers
- Possible overtime pay depending on business needs
Home time
- Local routes with you returning home every night
What you'll haul
- Propane deliveries to residential and commercial customers
Requirements
- Class B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker and air brake endorsements (if you don't have the endorsements yet, our company will train you and give you time to get them)
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate for interstate operation
- Able to lift and pull equipment weighing 50 to 75 lbs
- Strong customer service skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in any weather
- Must meet English language proficiency standards under 49 CFR 391.11(b)(2), including reading road signs, responding to official inquiries, and completing reports in English
What the job involves
- Inspecting and maintaining your delivery truck, including checking maintenance records and reporting any issues
- Tracking funds and inventory using a handheld terminal
