Part-Time CDL-A Delivery Driver — Starts at $32.58/hr

Our company is looking for a part-time CDL-A delivery driver in La Mirada, CA. You'll drive routes delivering foodservice products, handling 100% touch freight, and working early morning dispatch shifts.

Pay

• Starting rate of $32.58 per hour during your 90-day probation period

• Rate increases to $36.20 per hour once you pass probation

• Overtime pay may apply

Schedule

• Part-time, with availability needed Monday through Saturday (5-6 days per week)

• Dispatch times run between 2am and 5am

• Based out of La Mirada, CA

What you'll haul

• Foodservice product deliveries to customer accounts

• You'll unload by hand, ramp, or two-wheeler and place items in designated storage areas

• Deliveries require verifying orders and getting customer signatures; some routes involve handling payments or collections

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL from your state of residence with required endorsements and DOT qualifications

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or 3 months in food or beverage delivery

• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a DOT-required database tracking drug and alcohol violations for CDL holders

• Comfortable working in varied temperatures, including down to 0 degrees, and in different weather conditions with frequent stops

• Able to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs of product repeatedly through a shift, along with regular bending, reaching, climbing, and similar physical movement

• Ability to read and speak English well enough to understand road signs, communicate with officials, and complete reports

• Manual transmission skills preferred, and may be required at some locations
