Owner-Operator Box Truck/Hotshot Driver — $4,500–$7,500/Week

Our company is looking for owner-operators and truck drivers to run box trucks, hotshot rigs, dry vans and tractor-trailers out of Los Angeles, CA. You can work as an independent owner-operator or drive for the company, and both CDL and non-CDL drivers are welcome depending on the equipment you run.

What you'll do

• Operate box trucks, dry vans, flatbeds, tankers or refrigerated trailers in line with FMCSA and DOT rules

• Plan OTR routes with GPS to keep deliveries on time and fuel use efficient

• Load, secure and unload freight, including hazmat and other specialty cargo, following required safety steps

• Keep up with pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance and paperwork to stay safe and avoid breakdowns

• Handle freight by hand or with equipment, using proper loading and unloading methods

• Communicate with customers and get freight delivered on schedule

Requirements

• Background running commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, box trucks, flatbeds or dry vans

• Experience with refrigerated trailers, tankers or auto-hauling is a plus

• Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and hazmat safety rules

• Comfortable planning routes with GPS tools

• Background in freight delivery and cargo logistics

• Able to drive manual transmission trucks

• Solid grasp of safe loading and unloading practices
