Overnight Tow Service Driver — $27.50/hr + Bonuses

AAA is looking for an overnight Tow Service Driver in Oakland, CA to respond to stranded members and get them back on the road safely. You'll run roadside calls through the night, with full paid training provided so you can build a lasting career in the role.

Schedule

• Overnight shift, roughly 9pm/11pm to 6am/8am, including weekends

• Scheduling flexibility needed for hours between 2pm and 1:30am

• Minimum of 40 guaranteed hours per week

Pay

• Starting base pay of $27.50 per hour

• Shift differentials add $0.75 to $1.50 more per hour depending on when and how many days you work

• Productivity incentives can add up to $1,900 more per month for doing the job well

• Eligible for AAA's annual incentive plan or other incentive programs

What you'll do

• Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently

• Run basic diagnostics to identify vehicle problems

• Handle roadside calls such as tire changes, fuel delivery and lockouts

• Stay calm and solve problems while supporting members having a rough day

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Customer-focused attitude and genuine interest in helping people

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and traffic conditions, at sites that can be wet or hazardous

• Able to lift and carry tires and parts up to 50 pounds several times a day, along with bending, kneeling and stooping as needed

• Must provide a photo for ID purposes
