OTR Truck Driver — $25.07–$30.19/hr

Drive over-the-road routes hauling freight in a mix of equipment types, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers and refrigerated trailers. You'll handle deliveries across varied terrain while keeping safety and service front and center.

Pay

• $25.07 to $30.19 per hour

• Expected hours: 22.0 to 33.0 per week

What you'll haul

• Freight moved in tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers and refrigerated trailers

• Some loads may include dangerous goods or hazardous materials, handled under proper safety rules

What you'll do

• Plan efficient routes with GPS, adjusting for travel time and fuel use

• Load, unload and secure cargo by hand, following standard freight-handling practices

• Run pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Keep accurate records of hours driven, cargo and deliveries

• Follow FMCSA, DOT and hazmat rules at all times

• Deliver freight on schedule with a professional, customer-focused approach

Requirements

• Solid background driving commercial trucks, including delivery and long-haul routes

• Comfortable operating manual-transmission tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers and reefers

• Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and hazardous materials regulations

• Able to use GPS systems for route planning and on-the-go changes

• Experience safely loading and unloading freight by hand

• Clean driving history, with OTR experience a strong plus
