OTR Truck Driver — $0.65–$0.70 per Mile

Our company is looking for an over-the-road truck driver to haul freight on routes across the country. You'll handle different trailer types and may work with hazardous materials if you're endorsed for it. This role suits a driver who's comfortable with varied equipment and a fast-moving schedule.

Pay

What you'll haul

• Freight moved in tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers and refrigerated trailers on over-the-road routes

• Hazardous materials and other regulated goods, handled under DOT and hazmat rules when required

• Loads that you'll load and unload by hand, keeping cargo secure throughout transit

What you'll do

• Plan efficient routes with GPS to stay on schedule and manage fuel use

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep the truck safe and compliant

• Keep accurate records of hours, cargo and delivery paperwork per FMCSA rules

• Stay in touch with dispatch about route updates, delays or issues on the road

• Meet pickup and drop-off times at each stop on your route

Requirements

• Solid background driving commercial trucks and hauling freight on varied routes

• Comfortable operating tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers or refrigerated trailers

• Able to use GPS tools for planning and adjusting routes in real time

• Experience loading and unloading freight, including refrigerated or hazardous cargo

• Working knowledge of FMCSA rules covering hours of service, maintenance and safety

• Comfortable with manual transmission trucks

• Understanding of hazmat regulations for transporting dangerous goods

• Strong customer service habits during pickups and drop-offs
