OTR CDL Truck Driver

Our company in Blackfoot, ID is looking for an over-the-road truck driver to haul freight safely across various routes. You'll handle different equipment types and keep deliveries on schedule while following all safety rules.

What you'll haul

• You may operate tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, tankers or roll-off trucks depending on the load

• Forklift use may be needed for loading and unloading cargo

What you'll do

• Plan and run routes to get freight to its destination on time

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and compliance

• Keep accurate logs of hours and vehicle upkeep

• Keep the truck clean and in good working order

• Stay in contact with dispatch and customers about schedules or delays

• Follow traffic laws and company policy at all times

Requirements

• Valid CDL with endorsements matching the equipment you'll drive

• Solid track record driving tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers

• Good route-planning and navigation skills

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset

• Must pass a background check and drug screening

• Able to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends when needed
