OTR CDL Truck Driver — $80,000–$110,000/yr

Our company is looking for an OTR CDL driver to run long-haul routes across the country, hauling a mix of freight types and keeping deliveries on schedule.

Pay

• $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks and refrigerated trailers

• Freight that includes hazardous materials and dangerous goods, plus occasional vehicle transport where you'll secure automobiles for the trip

What the job involves

• Loading and unloading cargo safely and securing it to meet regulations

• Using GPS to plan routes and stay on schedule

• Following FMCSA, DOT and hazmat rules on every run

• Keeping accurate records of pickups, deliveries, loads and compliance logs

• Doing pre-trip and routine inspections, plus hands-on loading and unloading work

• Staying in touch with dispatch about delays, route changes or problems on the road

Requirements

• Valid CDL with a clean driving record

• Solid background in commercial truck driving, including route and delivery work

• Comfortable handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks and other specialized equipment

• Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and hazmat regulations, along with safe loading/unloading practices

• Confident operating manual transmission trucks

• Experienced with GPS systems for navigation and route adjustments

• Able to handle long days on the road while staying safe and professional

• Physically able to manage load securing and manual cargo tasks

• Must be able to pass a hair follicle drug test
